Yo Yo Yarrow Pom
This one of doTerra’s more expensive oils, but it’s well worth it. It’s a blend of Yarrow essential oil in a Pomegranate carrier oil.
There are very few other oils that are so versatile for your homemade beauty & personal care products. I include it in all of my skin care recipes, hormone balancing recipes, and in my hair growth serum (recipe below.)
AROMATIC USE
To be honest, I’ve heard this oil accurately described as smelling like the business end of a sloth. Of course, you can diffuse anything you want to, but I prefer to use it topically and internally.
TOPICAL USE
This oil can be used “neat,” meaning without diluting it. Many people on our team use this neat as a night-time skin serum. It can be included in your skin cleanser and in your deodorant.
Put it on scars, minor imperfections, and areas that wrinkle easily.
Put it on sagging skin and varicose veins.
Put it on the abdomen to support regular menstruation.
Put it on the bottoms of your feet and areas of concern before a steam bath to promote sweating and the release of toxins.
After using Yarrow Pom with a steam bath, follow it up with a citrus oil on the bottoms of your feet.
INTERNAL USE
NOTE ABOUT INTERNAL USE OF ESSENTIAL OILS: not all oils are of high enough quality & purity to use internally. I use a specific brand and this company stands by its oils and has researched to make sure internal use is safe with SOME of their oils. (I say SOME because you can’t eat wood no matter how pure it is.)
