Assisted Lymphatic Therapy-What to expect

“I thought this was only for celebrities!” exclaimed a recent new client. She’s got the celebrity part right-celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Anne Hathaway, and Selma Blair have been raving about lymphatic massage benefits.

But everyone has a lymphatic system that’s essential to your body’s nourishment and detoxification. Lymphatic care in St. Louis has an option even the celebrities don’t have-Assisted Lymphatic Therapy using the Photon Sound Beam.

This lymphatic therapy is a natural therapy for pain management, chronic illness, stress relief, sleep support, allergy relief, and helps support the immune system.

Most people are more familiar with lymphatic massage, but the incredible benefits of using the photon sound beam is that it can increase the fluidity of the lymph, pulse the lymph nodes, while encouraging the cells to take up nutrients and oxygen.

Here is what to expect from our 1-hour session together.

Photon Sound Beam

  1. This is NOT a lymphatic massage. You will be unclothed and under a sheet like in a massage. I will work with each body part/area individually and while keeping the rest of you covered for warmth and comfort, but I repeat, this is not a lymphatic massage. I will not be using my hands to rub your skin or doing anything with your fascia. Instead, I drag the wands of the Photon Sound Beam across your skin to move the lymph and infuse your body with supportive frequencies and oxygen.

  2. You will be on a massage table with sheets and a blanket. This is to help you be relaxed and because the assisted lymphatic therapy helps to put you into the rest & digest mode. It is a great stress reliever. You’ll spend the part of the session face up, then part of it face down.

  3. You are unclothed to your comfort level. The Photon Sound Beam works by gliding the glass wands over your skin. Sometimes they glide smoothly, sometimes I encounter a “sticky” patch. These sticky patches tell me where the congested areas are so I can spend more time clearing those areas. Even in the “sticky” areas, the gliding of the wands feels soothing and comforting.
Many of my clients are comfortable being completely unclothed or just keeping their underwear on. For those who are uncomfortable being totally unclothed, we can work with your comfort level. It will just take a little creativity regarding the clothing pieces you wear. Please include a note about this when you book your session so I can suggest types of clothes that will make it easier.

  4. It will be a very relaxing experience. I fell in love with the Photon Sound Beam after feeling how soothing and relaxing it is. The calming, slightly euphoric feeling lasts for a couple of days, or longer. Most people tell me “I feel lighter,” for days after their sessions.

  5. You may feel sleepy afterwards. The parasympathetic system, ie the rest & digest system will be activated. You may be primed for a really good nap after your Assisted Lymphatic Therapy session. So avoid planning anything that’s strenuous or can’t be canceled for after the session, at least until you’ve had one session to see how you respond.

  6. Education. The lymphatic system is working for you, full time. Anyone could benefit from daily Assisted Lymphatic Therapy sessions. However, that’s not realistic or flexible to have to come in every day unless you are healing a chronic illness or diagnosis such as cancer. So with each session, I’ll give you a tip on how to keep your lymphatic system happy every day.

  7. You will see a difference. Take before and after photos of your body as well as of your face. When your hour with me is finished, you’ll likely see a difference and there will be more changes for the coming days as your body flushes out extra fluids. I usually see less fluid in my face and less puffiness under my eyes. I can also feel the difference when I walk quickly, jog, or go upstairs. See the photo below…

  8. Avoid lotions or deodorant for an hour before the session. The Photon Sound Beam works with electricity so the skin needs to be as dry as possible. This helps with the glide of the machine and to make sure you don’t get a little shock from the wetness of the cream.

I’m super excited to work with you and to see what the Photon Sound Beam can do for your body. If you haven’t already booked with me, use the button below to schedule an In Person session.
