Head to Toe Uses for Rosemary-Essential Oils under $20
ROSEMARY. Love it. Specifically, I love smelling it. I love the way it blends with other scents and makes them take on an entirely new and unexpected life.
AROMATIC USE
Using it is as simple as opening the bottle and smelling from it or putting a couple of drops in a diffuser or on my wrist and smelling it.
I do this anytime I want to change my crappy mood (which is pretty often.)
It’s a great oil for helping you concentrate & increasing memory and focus.
It’s a great oil for times when you’re searching for deeper answers.
It’s a great oil for relieving mental exhaustion.
It’s a great for opening airways (Ever think about the slight unease your body feels if it suspects air is in short supply?) and for getting to sleep.
FAVORITE BLEND TO DIFFUSE IS ROSEMARY, LAVENDER, AND LIME.
TOPICAL USE
You could just mix it with your lotion, put it all over your body, and be happy. But more specifically, here are a few ways I use it.
I add it to my hair oil treatment (with coconut oil and castor oil, but play around with the carrier oils that work best for your hair as my hair has a very fine texture.)
I put it on my muscles for soothing after a workout.
I put it on my neck and shoulders when I want to relax.
I add it to my deodorant oil.
AWESOME SOOTHING BLEND TO USE TOPICALLY IS ROSEMARY, EUCALYPTUS, PEPPERMINT, AND MARJORAM.
INTERNAL USE
NOTE ABOUT INTERNAL USE OF ESSENTIAL OILS: not all oils are of high enough quality & purity to use internally. I use a specific brand and this company stands by its oils and has researched to make sure internal use is safe with SOME of their oils. (I say SOME because you can’t eat wood no matter how pure it is.)
This is not an oil that would taste good in a glass of water. Instead, I add it to a capsule when I want to use it internally.
Rosemary is great to use internally when…
I need a little pick me up.
I want to support my immune system.
I want to support my digestive health.
I can also add it to pasta dishes, dips, or anything else that could use rosemary flavor.
A SIMPLE PICK ME UP BLEND FOR A CAPSULE WOULD BE ROSEMARY, LEMON, AND FRANKINCENSE.
